I have been taking photos of the Catasetinae as they have been blooming, but I am not able to post photos of all of the many hybrids that we have to offer. Some of the images are courtesy of Jumbo Orchids, Sunset Valley Orchids, and various of our customers who have given us their permission to include images for you to enjoy. Not all plants are available as clones and some photos are represented here as examples of the fine quality plants used in the breeding programs.
This photo shows an interesting trait in the Catasetinae. This Fredclarkeara seedling started to produce a growth at the end of December, and then is producing an inflorescence from the middle of the new growth. I think this may be due to the young nature of the plant and as the seedling matures, it will go back to producing the normal inflorescences from the sides of the pseudobulbs. .
